BAD WITH MONEY - Ben Rimalower's new play about spending beyond his means - has extended through December 2014 due to strong ticket sales. Previously scheduled to close on November 6, the show will be performed through December 18. Ben's addiction has driven him to extreme lengths all his life. In BAD WITH MONEY he charts his sometimes hilarious, sometimes harrowing struggle to overcome his problem - or get rich trying. Written and performed by Ben Rimalower and directed by Aaron Mark, BAD WITH MONEY is being performed at The Duplex 61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue on Thursday nights at 930 PM.

According to Variety, London theatre critic David Benedict will soon pen a new Stephen Sondheim biography for Random House, titled How Did It Happen The Life and Career of Stephen Sondheim. The book will include interviews withe the man himself, as well as information gathered from his frequent collaborators. Random House expects Benedict's first daft by December 2017.

Pamela Bob, from the cast of the Tony Award-winning 'Best Musical' A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, will perform a solo show at 54 Below on Monday, October 6 featuring the songs of Ellen Mandel and Michael Lydon. Directed by DJ Salisbury, the theatrical evening, entitled Hat, Hat Chapeau will tell the story of three women through jazzy ballads, lyrical settings of modern poetry, and bluesy funk.
